How to Make Your Own Capsules {herb and spice supplements}
If you are health conscious and like supplementing with natural herbs and spices,
making your own capsules only makes sense:
it saves money AND you control the ingredients.
My friend Linda introduced me to capsule making, and I am hooked.
It is so fun to do (I feel like a child who is playing with dishes....)!!!

I make capsules all the time now, just for fun:  then as an added bonus we get to consume them as a family for optimum health.
~No, we don't eat them like candy..... Heeheehee.... :)

How to Make Your Own Capsules {Tutorial}

Make your own capsules
Below is a step-by-step tutorial on how to work with
this little tool that they call The Capsule Machine.
(It doesn't look like a machine to me....  Is that just me....?)
Picture
The Capsule Machine and Empty Capsules
I bought my Capsule Machine and the corresponding empty capsules at a small health food store in Idaho Falls called "DC Health Foods."
(I like to support local business.)
You can buy yours online at Amazon, eBay, or an online health food store,
or at health food store in your local town.
~~~~
I stopped at the grocery store and bought some healthy spices and herbs in the bulk section and went home to whip up some healthy capsules.
to identify parts.
Let me know if you have ever tried making your own capsules and what supplements you use them for....  :)
I make my own antihistamine and cold/flu bomb capsules using Doterra essential oils. Definitely will have to check out the capsule machine!
Very good, Marijke. I don't know if they have anything like that over here, but great to see how it's done. By the way: I love your hands from up close. The skin texture. They look very much like mom's. Love you, sis x
Wow - it's amazing how easy it is to make your own vitamins. I've heard curcumin/tumeric should include black pepper for better absorption.
Thank you so much Tracey for adding that information. That is so good to know! I'll add pepper in next time I make capsules
Great. I use all of these herbs and spices, but ... I cook with them. They are delicious and if you do so, you are also ensuring that you are not overdosing yourself on those spices... Too much of that hot stuff is not good for your tummy, after all.
Thank you for linking it up with us. A new party opens again later today. I hope to see you there again. Stay in touch! ~ Rose
