Hello there bloggy friends!  Today I would like to introduce you to the lovely and gracious Kathryn from 'the Dedicated House."

Kathryn is one AMAZING lady!  She enjoyed a wonderful professional career as an opera singer and voice teacher until she became a mother four years ago.  Now she is a happy stay-at-home mommy with a spunky and beautiful little girl.  When she gets a break from running around chasing her sweet angel she maintains her inspiring and creative website/blog:  the Dedicated House.

On her gallery wall, you can spot a picture of Kathryn back in her performing days.  The role was Sweet Sue in Sugar based off of Some Like it Hot.

Besides singing she is also into beautifying her lovely home.  Just look at how beauteous her freshly painted white cabinets look in her blue/white kitchen.  Yep she painted right over the  builder's grade oak...  And added some fancy new hardware....

And her gorgeous banister used to be a blond oak....  : NO LONGER!  Kathryn treated it with a stunning stain to match her door and hutch in the entryway.  Neat stuff.

Her entryway friend is Peggy the Pedestal Table:  she is the product of
a most convenient marriage:  chalk paint and Goodwill.
